CC & CCL Series Overview

The AKG Cool-Line CC and CCL Series are rugged, high-performance air-cooled aftercoolers engineered for rotary screw and piston compressors. They provide compact, efficient cooling that removes heat from compressed air, reduces moisture carryover, lowers outlet temperatures, and protects downstream equipment from heat damage and corrosion.

Typical Applications

  • General Manufacturing: Plant air systems, pneumatic tools, and automated machinery.
  • Automotive & Metal Fabrication: Air supply for paint booths, welding, and assembly lines.
  • Food & Beverage Packaging: Blow molding, bottling lines, and pneumatic conveying.
  • Construction & Mining: Portable and stationary compressor packages for tools and equipment.
  • Pharmaceutical & Electronics: Clean, dry instrument air and process air systems.
  • Power Generation & Utilities: Instrument air, control systems, and breathing air.

The Benefits of CC & CCL Series Aftercoolers

The CC and CCL Series deliver reliable, compact cooling solutions for compressed air systems. By efficiently lowering the temperature of air exiting the compressor, they minimize moisture content, prevent condensation in air lines, and extend the service life of dryers, filters, valves, and tools.

Featuring an advanced aluminum design with reduced air-side fouling, these aftercoolers offer excellent heat transfer performance and low pressure drop. They are available with a variety of motor options including electric (single-phase or three-phase) and air motors.

Choose the standard CC Series for most installations or the CCL Series when lower noise levels are required. Both series provide competitive pricing, fast availability from stock, and dependable performance across a wide range of industrial compressed air applications.
